Residential Addiction Therapist

At Recovering Hope Treatment Center, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.

The Residential Alcohol and Drug Counselor is responsible for providing ongoing assessment and treatment planning for clients, as well as facilitating individual and group counseling sessions and education sessions. This position requires a strong understanding of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Complete comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for clients
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and education sessions
• Develop and implement continuing care plans for clients
• Communicate regularly with clinical director and mental health professionals on client treatment and progress
• Document client participation and progress in client records

• Licensure by the State of Minnesota for Alcohol and Drug Counselor in good standing
• Temporary Permit through the State of Minnesota in good standing
• Knowledge of Minnesota Statute 245G and chapter 245A
• Ability to operate a computer and other office machinery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
