Job SummaryThe Sales Associate is a key role in driving sales and establishing customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for assisting with merchandise selection and maintenance, handling customer transactions, and providing a seamless shopping experience across our stores and online platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Assist customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner, delivering superior customer service and utilizing suggestive selling techniques to drive sales.
- Merchandise Management: Assist with merchandise selection and maintenance, including moving and flowing merchandise autonomously and maintaining the floor according to company-directed standards.
- Transaction Processing: Handle each register transaction professionally and in a friendly manner, fulfilling phone and online orders to support the omni-channel customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Follow policies and procedures for markdowns, re-ticketing, sensoring, and inventory control, and assist with preparation and execution of annual inventory.
- Store Operations: Assist store team with preparation and execution of promotional events, and perform other duties as required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business need, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Retail Experience: Retail experience preferred, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform general math computations and operate photographic and video equipment.
- Physical Demands: Capable of performing some lifting of up to 25 pounds.
