We are seeking an experienced Cytology Technologist to join our team at Westerly Hospital. As a Cytology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and examining tissue samples to aid in the diagnosis of diseases. This is a laboratory-based role that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine tissue samples for cytological examination
  • Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory results and patient information

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cytology Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

AHA Certifications Required:
