Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team at Performive. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in collaborating with our Sales, Marketing, and Technical Teams to drive business objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to build trust with our customers by proposing technical architectures, demonstrating our products, and anticipating concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical roadblocks.
- Manage the pre-sales technical relationship with our customers, including overseeing product and solution demonstrations, proof-of-concept, and coordination of additional engineering resources as needed.
- Be the trusted technical advisor for our prospects, customers, and partners, educating them on the value of our services.
- Contribute to deal documentation, including deep and wide contact mapping, tracking/ROI data, current environment summary, pain points, competition, priorities, and ideal end-state function.
- Participate in current customer QBRs, sharing technical consumption data and suggesting additional product and service areas that Performive can provide value.
- Build relationships with technical team members in partners and key vendors.
- Participate in technical discussions with prospects, customers, and partners to gather requirements that aid in the design of technical solutions.
- Provide technical demonstrations, presentations, and guided walk-throughs of Performive's service portfolios and service features.
- Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Performive values.
- Provide RFP responses, technical drawings, presentations, statements of work, and technical recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supporting sales counterparts during the sales process, identifying additional opportunities, and assisting in driving opportunities to closure.
- Experience as a pre-sales engineer selling complex, technical solutions.
- Understanding of VMware-based Cloud solutions and Managed Services products.
- Good understanding and practical experience with VMware and Veeam product sets utilized across both public and private cloud.
- Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of the Midsized Enterprise market, Performive's customer profile, and its technology stack.
- Knowledge and confidence in the sales process and pricing strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently within deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers, and coworkers.
