Spurwink Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological testing and consultation services to children in the foster care system. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work closely with medical providers to provide comprehensive health assessments for children in the foster care system.
About the Position
This is a full-time position that involves assessing and evaluating children in the foster care system to determine their mental health needs. You will consult with various stakeholders, including child protective services, the courts, attorneys, and mental health treatment providers, to ensure comprehensive care for children in the foster care system.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate children in the foster care system to determine their mental health needs.
- Develop effective treatment plans to address the identified needs of children in the foster care system.

- Provide expert witness testimony as needed in court proceedings related to child maltreatment cases.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a doctoral degree in psychology, be licensed to practice in Maine, and have experience administering psychometric testing to children. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.
