Join Our Team as a Diesel Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician Apprentice to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working with a variety of diesel engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with roadside services and learn preventative maintenance techniques
  • Work on electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs, and wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
  • Learn to diagnose and repair air system, air brakes, and charging system issues
  • Develop basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement skills
  • Assist with parts lookup and acquisition
Requirements:
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in close quarters
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
