Job Overview:

We are in search of a diligent, dependable, and meticulous individual to fill the role of Sanitation Department Staff.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all production areas within our commercial bakery, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all bakery machinery, surfaces, and areas, utilizing approved cleaning agents and techniques.
  • Operate and maintain industrial cleaning machinery such as power washers, steamers, and scrubbers.
  • Regularly assess the cleanliness of bakery areas and communicate any concerns to the production manager.
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling cleaning substances and equipment.
  • Ensure all sanitation duties are completed within designated time frames and meet established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to uphold a clean and organized production space.
  • Comply with all company policies and engage in ongoing training and development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a union position, and the pay rate will be determined by the collective bargaining agreement. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
