Utility Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Utility Technician to join our team at Altec Industries, Inc. As a Utility Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the 5S's – Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Painting work areas to indicate area type
• General housekeeping assignments, centered around safety, quality, and improved efficiency
• Supporting RCIs
• Grounds keeping, including grounds cleanup, snow removal, salting, and sanding sidewalks
• Light building maintenance
• Maintaining equipment and tools used

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend required
• Basic computer usage knowledge desired
• Ability to read tape measures and blue prints desired
• General knowledge of at least one of the following desired: Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electrical, Manufacturing / Production processes
