Sample Accessioner

Job Summary:

The Sample Accessioner - Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of samples in our laboratory. This role requires excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify package integrity and chain of custody requirements
• Enter patient information into the computer system
• Handle case assignments, review case progress, and determine case closure
• Identify complete and partial cases
• Data Entry/Audit of all patient and contract information
• Close and mailing of final reports, chain of custody, and affidavits
• Input partial billing information
• Coordinate and provide service that is timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
• Meet weekly required production numbers
• Prepare Affidavits
• Notarization (limited)
• Attend and participate in staff meetings
