We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Development Services team in Marana, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting technical engineering reviews for private development projects, managing engineering specialists, and performing project management tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct technical engineering reviews for private development projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and town land development code.
- Manage and direct the day-to-day duties of engineering specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform project management tasks, including cost estimates and management of the Town's way finder program.
- Review and administer development assurances and the development closeout process.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Over three years' experience in engineering, development services, or a closely related field.
- Professional Civil Engineer license, or the ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date.
- Over one year of supervisory experience or the ability to complete the Town of Marana's supervisory academy within one year of hire date.
- Valid Arizona Driver License.
