Caregiver - Manchester

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Home Instead. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, to promote their independence and well-being.
• Monitor and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring the safety and health of our clients.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that enhance their mental and physical well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients.
• Accompany clients to appointments and engage in recreational activities, promoting social interaction and community involvement.
• Document and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals, ensuring timely interventions and support.

• Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a home care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of our clients.
• Basic knowledge of medication administration and management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
