Job Details
  • Emergency Department Capacity: 27 beds
  • Staff Composition: 50 RNs and 25 Medics
  • Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics; additional RNs during peak hours
  • Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics
  • Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per nurse
  • Equipment Used: EMR Meditech
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 2-3 travel assignments completed
  • Emergency Room Experience: 2-3 years required
  • Preferred Experience: High acuity and fast-paced emergency rooms
  • Patient Ratio Experience: Familiarity with 5:1 ratios
  • Typical Procedures: RSI, Sepsis interventions, Stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psych patients, transfers to other facilities
  • Personality Traits: Relaxed, friendly, team-oriented, and respectful
Job Requirements
  • Completion of 2-3 travel assignments
  • 2-3 years of ER experience
  • Experience with patient ratios of 5:1
  • Preferred: High acuity ERs and fast-paced environments
Schedule Information
  • No on-call duties
  • Weekend shifts: Four shifts in a four-week period
