About the Job

As a Medical Laboratory Professional - Pathology Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting pathologists in examining surgical specimens, processing lab samples, and performing post-mortem examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pathologists in examining surgical specimens
  • Process lab samples and prepare them for examination
  • Perform post-mortem examinations and submit specimens
  • Record findings and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Pathology Assistant
  • ASCP Certification
  • Current state license (if applicable)
