Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, and common areas
  • Collect, sort, and launder facility linens and resident clothing items
  • Keep accurate records of linen inventory and maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas
  • Operate various types of cleaning equipment and maintain cleanliness of facility materials
  • Perform basic housekeeping support procedures for residents as required
Requirements
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Understand and carry out oral and written directions
  • Dress in appropriate uniform and be at the appointed workstation when the shift starts and work consistently until the shift ends
  • Follow directions of the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Meet health assessment requirements, including a two-state Mantoux skin test
  • Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
