**Job Overview:**

The primary function of this role is to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a hospice setting. As an STNA, you will assist with and perform basic activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, and ambulation. This position also requires providing companionship and emotional support during times of crisis.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Performs basic patient care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse, including bathing, feeding, assistance with ambulation, and providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Fulfills regulatory and organizational processes and practices to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Communicates effectively with the patient's interdisciplinary team, including patients and their family members.
  • Performs equipment and supply-related quality checks and reports problems or malfunctions.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of 2 years of high school education in general studies.
  • Age 17 with a work permit.
  • Successful completion of Home Health Aide competency skills checklist as required by Medicare regulations.
  • STNA certification or completion of nursing student clinical training.

**Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $ 40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
