Key Responsibilities:- Program Development: Design, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for social services and discharge planning.
- Case Management Oversight: Supervise case management activities to ensure effective service delivery.
- Staff Management: Lead and mentor social services staff, ensuring their professional development and competency.
- Program Enhancement: Identify and develop new initiatives to improve services for specialized patient populations.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the departmental budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Community Collaboration: Work with community organizations to enhance services available to Kaiser members.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of social services programs and staff performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
Experience: A minimum of two years in a leadership role within medical social work is required.
Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
Licensure: Must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential in California upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:- Five years of supervisory experience in medical social work is preferred.
