Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and assess program participants, educate individuals and team members, complete required documentation, communicate with other healthcare professionals on the program participants' IPP/IEP, assist with departmental maintenance and supplies, participate in Agency activities, and assist in orientation to the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess program participants to identify communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized communication plans to improve functional communication
- Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive support to students
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and completed supervised clinical work
- Valid NYS (or willing to obtain) Drivers License
