Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Transport, transfer, immobilize, and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Calculate and select proper technical factors, operate equipment, acquire and process images, and identify images with patient information.
- Provide radiation protection, assist physicians with contrast media administration, and perform first aid when necessary.
- Participate in Quality Improvement projects, maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned areas, and rotate within the department and off-site clinics.
- Communicate effectively with patients, maintain ethical standards, and attend staff meetings and in-services.
- Graduation from an approved formal Program in Radiologic technology.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic technologist in the category of Radiography.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent certification and registration.
