Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Verify patient information and medication orders
  • Interact with customers to provide excellent service and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory of medications
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
