Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our Diagnostic Breast Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement the care of adult and geriatric patients undergoing mammography and breast-related invasive procedures.
  • Assess assigned patients' needs by reviewing radiology requests, medical history, admitting diagnosis, and physician orders.
  • Prioritize imaging needs for an assigned group of patients and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to determine patient care priorities.
  • Assist in identifying complex patient problems related to symptoms, behavioral changes, and abnormal diagnostic data.
  • Evaluate patients' responses to procedural care delivery and practice radiation protection techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT.
  • CPR certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
