Laboratory Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring that all tests and procedures are performed accurately and efficiently.

• Supervise and manage laboratory staff, including medical technologists, technicians, and assistants.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Manage laboratory supplies and equipment, including ordering and inventory control.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare providers to ensure that laboratory services meet the needs of patients.
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement activities to ensure that laboratory services are safe and effective.
• Develop and implement educational programs for laboratory staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, including experience in supervisory or management roles.
• Certification as a medical technologist or laboratory manager.
