At Huntington Ingalls Industries, we are seeking a talented Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Roanoke, VA. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of a real software product used by hardware engineers and perform reverse engineering tasks on existing products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with object-oriented programming languages, such as C++, Java, and Python, and be working towards a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Additionally, the candidate should be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be exposed to a variety of technologies, including hardware description languages, embedded instruction architectures, high-level software development languages, formal verification tools, and more. You will also have the opportunity to work with FPGA design software, such as Quartus, ISE, and Vivado, and software reverse engineering tools, such as IDA Pro and Ghidra.
