Colonial Behavioral Health is dedicated to providing recovery opportunities for individuals and their families dealing with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities.
We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Senior Clinician within our Adult Outpatient Services. This role involves delivering direct therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups facing co-occurring substance use and mental health or developmental disability issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage primarily with service members, veterans, and their families through in-person and telehealth sessions.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, and develop service plans for the target population.
- Document clinical interactions, including report writing and maintaining accurate health information records in both electronic and manual formats.
- Provide consultation to colleagues and community organizations regarding assessment, diagnosis, service coordination, and referrals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: Standard Business Hours.
This position may offer a hybrid work schedule (Remote/On-site) based on program requirements.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in treating co-occurring disorders, including knowledge of group counseling techniques, family systems, and motivational interviewing.
- Ability to create comprehensive, recovery-oriented treatment plans in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and composed demeanor when interacting with individuals and groups in high-stress situations.
- Preferred: One year of experience working with individuals with serious mental health and/or developmental disabilities.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A Master's Degree in a human services field is mandatory.
- Must possess a valid license from the Board of Counseling or the Board of Social Work (LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP).
- DMV record submission is required with the application.
