Job Summary

The Precisely Pandas Childcare Center seeks a highly motivated and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to support our teaching staff in creating a nurturing and safe environment for our young learners. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing a high-quality educational program and developing positive relationships with children and their parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of curricula activities that promote children's interests and learning.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom environment that encourages children's participation and engagement.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through progress reports, informal discussions, and other means.
  • Child Development: Observe and document children's interests and progress, and provide feedback to parents and staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teaching staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education certification or degree preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team environment; basic computer skills; and a strong understanding of child development.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification; must clear full background check and pass health screening.
