As a skilled Machine Technician II, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting process challenges and performing minor maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the production line while adhering to our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive instructions from the Lead Operator or Supervisor for specific tasks and seek assistance for any unusual challenges.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in entry-level Machine Operator skills and possess the capability to guide Level-1 Machine Operators.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and blow molding process procedures.
  • Utilize mechanical expertise to effectively troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
  • Exhibit knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Perform essential Machine Operator tasks, including maintaining critical processing outputs such as adjusting parisons, tail adjustments, regrind levels, weight controls, and other necessary adjustments.
  • Consistently operate two production lines.
  • Conduct repairs or replacements of pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance, mold changes, neck and blow pin adjustments, and other mechanical modifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues as they arise.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple platforms and cross-functionally, and train entry-level Machine Operators.
  • Efficiently change colors with minimal product loss.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require regular standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. The role frequently requires lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

In this role, you will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment, with a typical noise level that is loud. Temperatures within the facility may vary according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in designated areas.
