Athletic Trainer

Job Summary:

The Cranford Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified Athletic Trainer to provide services designed to prevent and/or care for injuries sustained by students participating in school athletic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an athletic health care program that focuses on fitness, nutrition, conditioning, injury prevention, and provides for injury evaluation and immediate care/rehabilitation of injured athletes.

• Maintain the physical well-being of interscholastic-athletes through the provision of services that promote a safe and healthy environment for athletic participation.

• Collaborate with school administrators, coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the athletic health care program.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in athletic training and injury prevention.

Requirements:

• NJ State certification required in School Athletic Trainer Endorsement 2930.

• Strong knowledge of athletic training principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
