Position Summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites is in search of a skilled and customer-oriented Mixologist to enhance our service team. The Bartender is tasked with the preparation and serving of beverages to guests in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. This position demands exceptional customer service skills, comprehensive knowledge of drink recipes, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Interaction:
    • Welcome guests promptly with a friendly and inviting attitude.
    • Receive beverage orders from patrons.
    • Offer suggestions and respond to inquiries regarding drink options.
  2. Beverage Preparation:
    • Craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following established recipes.
    • Combine ingredients such as spirits, mixers, and garnishes to create cocktails and other beverages.
    • Ensure responsible alcohol service, including refusing service to intoxicated individuals and verifying guest identification to confirm legal drinking age.
  3. Bar Upkeep:
    • Maintain a tidy and organized bar area.
    • Restock and replenish bar supplies and inventory.
    • Clean glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  4. Financial Transactions:
    • Process guest payments through cash, credit cards, or room charges.
    • Reconcile cash receipts and transactions at the conclusion of each shift.
  5. Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with other hotel staff to deliver a seamless guest experience.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  6. Additional Responsibilities:
    • Participate in bar staff meetings and training sessions.
    • Assist with bar promotions, events, and special occasions.
    • Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:
