Dishwasher/Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Porter to join our team at Quest Food Management Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of kitchen activities, including pot washing, dishwashing, and general cleaning duties.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish area, kitchen, cafeteria, and loading dock.
• Set up cutting boards, trash cans, mats, dish machines, and pot sinks.
• Organize pot shelves to ensure ease of access for kitchen staff.
• Wash all soiled kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and small wares according to proper sanitation standards.
• Ensure trashcans are emptied as needed and dispose of cardboard boxes in the recycling dumpster.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and pot room floors to prevent slipping accidents.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and understand measurements and conversions.
• Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification).
• Previous experience in a similar role.
