Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at Amazon Stores. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair material handling equipment and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Mentor junior technicians
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
  • 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge
  • Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
