We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the University of Toledo Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a busy Level 2 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing physical exams, and diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and provide education and counseling to patients.
- Initiate, request, and/or perform routine laboratory, radiologic, and diagnostic studies as indicated.
- Evaluate patient responses to treatment and provide ongoing care and support.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program with a Master's degree in an appropriate field.
- Two years or more of experience working in a busy Level 2 Trauma Center.
- State of Ohio licensure as a Physician Assistant, National Certification as a Physician Assistant, BLS certification, and COA from the Ohio State Medical Board to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Eligible to obtain and/or maintain Certificate to Prescribe/DEA.
