Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Medical/Surgical CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses in providing direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Perform basic technical skills, such as CPR, vital sign measurement, and fluid intake/output recording.
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
  • Assist patients with walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
  • Maintain unit supplies and document patient care data.
  • Provide clerical support to the unit, including order entry and chart processing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant - Washington state licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a medical/surgical unit.
  • Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, push/pull up to 45 pounds, and perform hands-on CPR. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to biohazard, body fluids, and airborne particles.
