Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist OR is an integral part of our team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patient populations ranging from infancy to geriatrics. This role functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure a safe operating room environment, proper equipment function, and optimal conditions for the operative procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in sterile and aseptic technique to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
- Combine knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation of tools and technologies to ensure patient safety.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- No experience required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Graduate Surgical Technology required, or Military - Surgical Technology required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist required.
Work Schedule
Multiple shifts available, including various options for hours of work and weekend requirements.
