Job Title: Caregiver - Laguna Beach

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team in Laguna Beach, CA. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of seniors by providing exceptional personal care and companionship.

Job Summary:

As a Caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support with daily routines. You will also maintain a clean and safe environment, transport clients to appointments, and follow care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities, conversations, and hobbies
  • Support with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and errands
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries
  • Transport clients to appointments, social activities, or other necessary errands
  • Follow care plans and work closely with our team to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field preferred
  • Sympathetic attitude towards the care and dignity of our clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly rate: $18 to $20, with OT rates up to $30 per hour Paid biweekly
