About the Role

Citrin Cooperman & Co LLP is seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our Livingston office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading tax engagements, developing budgets and pricing, and providing direction to staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tax closings, tax returns, compilations, and book reviews
  • Develop and implement budgets and pricing strategies
  • Provide guidance and supervision to staff members
  • Collaborate with tax, SALT, TAS, and A&A teams
  • Develop strong client relationships through positive interactions
  • Provide training, direction, and supervision to the team
  • Assess staff performance and provide feedback
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public accounting, including 4+ years of managerial experience
  • Tax knowledge, including individual tax returns and pass-through entities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise staff at all levels
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
