Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc is seeking a highly skilled Master Laser Cutter Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC laser equipment in a manufacturing environment, executing cutting, drilling, welding, and ablation processes with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Laser Equipment: The Master Laser Cutter Specialist will operate CNC laser equipment to execute various processes, including cutting, drilling, welding, and ablation.
  • Maintain Continuity: Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Troubleshoot Malfunctions: Detect and troubleshoot malfunctions with equipment and processes, asking for assistance from support personnel as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; minimum 2 years of laser experience required.
  • Skills and Competencies: Basic mechanical and mathematical skills; troubleshooting/critical thinking skills; ability to work well with others or alone as required; conscientiousness; integrity and pride in one's work; safety mindset; reliable attendance within standards of attendance policy; open communication; complex problem solving; time management.
Physical Requirements
  • Vision Abilities: Close vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 20/20 vision (corrected) required with ability to pass annual vision test as required.
  • Lifting and Pushing: Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds.
  • Mobility: Oscillate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout scheduled shift; routinely reach, twist, bend, and grasp; periodically operate an overhead crane.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
