We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures using portable radiological equipment, ensuring image quality and adhering to safety protocols.
- Travel to various locations, including nursing homes, hospitals, and patient residences, to conduct imaging exams.
- Collect and verify required documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, operating portable radiologic equipment as needed.
- Determine exposure factors based on patient characteristics and exam requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, troubleshoot issues, and assist with training and orientation of other staff members.
- Act professionally and interact positively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements for performing portable x-rays, such as registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a state x-ray license.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and move easily while carrying equipment.
- Varied schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Benefits and Compensation:
This full-time position offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and on-call pay. The estimated annual salary is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
