About the Role

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Geriatric Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, clinically effective psychiatric care to older adults on the inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to older adults, including admission assessments, diagnostic formulation, medication management, treatment planning, and discharge of patients.
  • Model collaborative practice by fostering a culture of trust, respect, and fairness to all stakeholders and clinical staff.
  • Participate in weekday evening and weekend shifts, with optional additional compensation.
Requirements
  • Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.
  • Be board certified or board eligible.
