**Job Summary**

As a warehouse logistics specialist, you'll be responsible for efficiently sorting, handling, and loading freight into and out of over the road equipment, containers, and city trailers using a sit-down forklift. In some instances, you may also perform the duties of a hostler, moving trailers throughout our yard.

**Responsibilities**

+ Load and unload freight on trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines.

+ Read and interpret shipping labels.

+ Hand load, rewrap, or stack freight as necessary.

+ Secure freight inside the trailer using provided and appropriate dunnage.

+ Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

+ Freight handling experience is preferred.

+ Forklift certification is a plus.

+ Hazmat training is beneficial.

+ Previous freight dock or warehouse experience is helpful.
