Job Description
This Certified Nursing Assistant position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our residents at the Veterans Home of California - Redding. As a key member of our care team, you will assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and maintain accurate records of resident care. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. In addition to providing direct care, you will also participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as wound care, infection control, and gerontology. We offer a competitive salary range of $33,700 - $42,190 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant will include:
• Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
• Maintaining accurate records of resident care, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participating in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as wound care, infection control, and gerontology

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and have prior experience in long-term care or a related field. You should also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
