Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hospital. As a Surgical Oncology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing wellness and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new nurses and contributing to a culture of safety and quality.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of evidence-based care models, including AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
