Full Time - 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • No Weekends or Holidays
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus for Histotechnologists
  • $3,000 available in relocation assistance

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Histology Specialist, you will:

  • Perform computer functions and manage patient specimens.
  • Maintain department inventory and operate essential equipment.
  • Conduct record-keeping tasks and quality improvement functions.
  • Execute routine histological procedures while adhering to patient identification and lab safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures within the department.
Your duties will be carried out in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Histotechnician:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Certification:
HT (ASCP)

Preferred Experience:
3-5 years in a histology laboratory.

Histotechnologist:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Certification:
HTL (ASCP)
