Job Summary and Qualifications
The Patient Care Assistant delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. If this resonates with you, consider joining our team.
Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the Patient Care Assistant aids the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Assistant's skills/training and the needs of the department, consistently assisting the patient care team in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The Patient Care Assistant is currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited nursing program and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved.
What qualifications you will need:
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing is required.
- 1+ years of nursing school completed is preferred.
- Current BLS certification is required.
