Job Overview

Wilson Hand LLC is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology Center team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering compassionate, leading-edge oncology care to our patients.

Duties:

  • Perform radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators or other radiation equipment
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
  • Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and report any issues to the oncologist
  • Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
  • Educate patients on treatment procedures and possible side effects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Current certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in acute care or critical care settings preferred
  • Familiarity with radiation therapy modalities including mammography and CT scans
