Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse I to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or have behavioral problems.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Conduct physical assessments of individual health needs and implement appropriate action. Implement and monitor case management service plans. Instruct and assist individuals in meeting their health care needs. Prepare, maintain, and review individual records and individual assessments. Participate in quality assurance reviews and comply with all State/Federal/Local standards.

Requirements:
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Must have current CPR certification and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of emergency procedures and emergency equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
