We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Client Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. Key Responsibilities- Deploy, configure, and manage core ADC services, including directory services, file and print, DNS/DHCP, application servers and management of server hardware and infrastructure.
- Adapt and improve operations management systems and processes to accommodate rapid and increasing growth in systems and traffic.
- Drive expedient resolution and root cause analysis for critical issues affecting your services.
- Mentor and develop a team of Operational Engineers with an emphasis on providing dial tone services.
- Bring continuous improvement to operational processes.
- Balance raw up-front dollar cost with usability, operability and TCO, both in datacenters and on-site services.
- Lead the development and delivery of state of the art system health monitoring, diagnostics, repair, and other self-healing automation.
- Develop automation tools and processes that reduce manual effort and increase overall efficiency.
- Innovate and drive improvements in monitoring and visualization of system health, status of maintenance tasks, and reporting systems.

- Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Eight (8+) years supporting Windows family of operating systems to include four (4) of the following eight (8) core competencies: AD, DHCP, PowerShell, Email workflow, SCCM, SCOM, Win OS, DNS, and disaster recovery/business continuity.
- Three (3+) years' experience in automation / scripting in the Windows environment using PowerShell.
- Defined Knowledge of networking basic skills and troubleshooting.
- Experience automating tasks such as, software packaging and deployment, automated security patching, and Operating System Deployment.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
