Frazer, a prominent manufacturer of emergency medical vehicles, is currently on the lookout for a Metal Fabrication Specialist to enhance our team. The Metal Fabrication Specialist at Frazer will report to the Fabrication & Weld Supervisor and will be tasked with interpreting blueprints and utilizing various hand tools to produce assembled components that meet customer specifications.

This role requires a commitment to embodying Frazer's Core Values while collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and clients to achieve collective, departmental, and organizational objectives. The individual will be responsible for understanding and adhering to safe work practices while actively participating in Frazer's Safety programs and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Typical Responsibilities of a Metal Fabrication Specialist:
  1. Follow established company protocols, particularly focusing on safety standards.
  2. Arrange, position, align, cut, shape, and install various metal components to create aluminum body modules.
  3. Utilize measuring tools, power drills, and other hand and power tools as necessary.
  4. Ensure the final appearance of the module meets required specifications, using appropriate solvents, cleaners, and adhesives in various environments.
  5. Interpret and comprehend blueprints, instructions, service manuals, and verbal guidance to complete assigned tasks.
  6. Effectively follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  7. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Attention to detail; prior experience in aluminum modular assembly is advantageous.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must pass a post-offer drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of assembly experience.
  • 2+ years of aluminum welding experience.
Essential Skills:

Software Proficiency:

Compensation:

Frazer offers competitive compensation, with this role starting at $22.00 per hour, based on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule:

The Metal Fabrication Specialist will work Monday - Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Flexibility for late afternoon, evening, or weekend hours may be required based on production demands.
