Nursing Director Position

Triboro Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing facility in the Bronx, NY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing services and ensuring compliance with Department of Health regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee the hiring and training of nursing staff
- Ensure adequate nursing staff and maintain current skills
- Monitor and address nursing employee conduct
- Stay informed about facility incidents and assess resident health needs
- Current New York State RN license
- Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Prior DON experience preferred
- Strong supervision and leadership skills
Triboro Center is a 405-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in the Bronx. Our facility provides a warm and nurturing environment, allowing each resident to maintain their individuality. Job DescriptionThe Director of Nursing assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of Nursing services in the facility. In collaboration with Administration, the DON ensures that the facility is in compliance with all Department of Health regulations and passes the annual survey process. As a key leader of the facility, the DON assists with the organization, development, coordination, and direction of the Nursing Department as it pertains to all facility needs and requirements.
