Job Summary
As a Welder at ATI, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting dimensional drawings and sketches to make necessary layouts and follow welding procedures to achieve maximum weld strength.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret dimensional drawings and sketches to make necessary layouts.
- Follow welding procedures to obtain maximum weld strength.
- Set up and operate all types of welding equipment.
- Use various tools such as crescent wrenches, open-end wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, and wire brushes.
Requirements
Must be able to follow welding procedures and techniques to obtain proper penetration and weld strength in accordance with code certifications, alignment, and inspection requirements.
Work Environment
Work will be performed in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to noise, heat, and hazardous materials.
