Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy services in a regional unit setting.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.
  • Provide education to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation.
