Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Kroger. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Customer Service: Provide a safe, clean, and inclusive environment for our customers, while demonstrating a commitment to fairness, ethics, and respect.
• Health and Wellness Services: Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services and experiences relevant to the patient, in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Support Services: Assist pharmacists in all responsibilities, except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgment, and support the continued coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Medication Management: Compound medications according to state and other regulations, and perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
• Compliance and Safety: Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures, and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Age: Must be 18 years of age
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Certification: Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure

• Experience: Any previous comparable experience or equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician
